What The Fence knows people are not experts at how to install a quality fence. Some will try to install a fence themselves. Although you can install a fence by yourself, it is good to have the right equipment and experience to make the fence last.  Do you have access to quality materials?  Do you know the correct procedure for installing it?  Do you have the time to install the fence?  Just because you can do it does not mean you should be the one doing it.

Most new fences typically look the same, however, time will tell if what you paid for is the quality you were promised. If you use a “Chuck in the truck” installer who does not use quality materials and follow correct procedures, they will most likely not be around in six months when the fence begins to show weak points.

How can you tell if your installer is building your fence correctly?  You must trust them.  What The Fence has been installing all sorts of fences for the last 5 years and has perfected the process.  Our name has changed from Restore Atlas, but our processes and materials have not.  We have installed over 7 million linear feet and counting. Every day we improve our craftsmanship.  We continuously shop our material vendors to find the best quality for the best price.

Every post is set in concrete at 18 inches deep in solid rock, 24 inches deep in clay or soft soil, and 36 inches deep if it is an 8-foot-tall fence. Every 2×4 is ground contact rated for outdoors and secured with two double-dipped deck screws per post.  (Quality control checks this and you can too) Every picket is installed using six ring-shank galvanized nails per picket.  The entire job site is cleaned and organized at the end of each day of production to ensure safety and a steady workflow.

Materials?  That is a whole other blog.  Stay tuned!  Would you like a free estimate?  Contact Usto get your new fence started.
