Give your fence a “facelift”.

Do you have a fence that has good bones, but doesn’t show it?  Is it dirty and ugly looking but other than that in pretty good condition? Does it need a wake-up shush? You may not need to replace this fence, just give it a “Fence Lift”.

For typically less than 15% of the cost to replace your fence, What The Fence can “lift” the current fence you have. Our skilled craftsman can use the What The Fence lift process to turn that fence into looking better than the day it was installed.

What is a What The Fence Lift?  Just like in the medical field, you must understand what is causing the problem to understand what actions must be taken to correct it.  Fences breakdown for the following key reasons:

Moisture: Exposure to moisture is a primary factor leading to wood fence deterioration. When wood absorbs water from rain, snow, or sprinklers, it becomes susceptible to rotting. Constant moisture promotes the growth of fungi, which break down the wood fibers and cause decay.

Sunlight: Ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can cause the wood’s lignin (a natural binder) to break down. This process, known as photodegradation, results in the wood’s surface turning grey and becoming more vulnerable to rot.

What The Fence technicians first clean the fence with an antimicrobial solution to remove dirt, and grime, and inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Then we use a patented tip that forces the water to rotate and deeply remove unwanted microbes. Lastly, a high-grade stain is applied that fits the appropriate wood profile of your fence. We always apply two coats, and back brushing the product into the grain.

This process helps to eliminate the breakdown from moisture and major UV.
